Ingredients:
One tsp Chamomile whole leaf Tea (or 1 bag of Chamomile tea)
5-7 mint leaves (or 1 bag of Peppermint Tea)
One thumb sized nugget of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
2 1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp hot pepper flake (optional)
1 tsp lemon Juice
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp honey, or preferred sweetener (optional)
Directions:
Add the water and ginger to a small pot and turn on high heat to quickly bring to a boil. While the water is warming, prep a 16 oz mug or thermos with lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and your preferred sweetener and set aside.
When the water is boiling, add the sliced ginger, reduce the heat to medium low, and simmer the ginger for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from heat, add the mint leaves, chamomile tea hot pepper flakes to the pot and cover with a lid and allow to sit another 5 minutes to brew the tea.
Strain the brewed tea liquid into your waiting mug. Let cool for at least 5-10 minutes until it reaches a low enough temperature until it is comfortable to sip. Enjoy.
